Dr Yonas Baheretibeb
Founder
Dr. Yonas Baheretibeb is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, College of Health Sciences, School of Medicine at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. He is also the founder of the first Private Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Center, Sitota Center for Mental Health Care in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Dr.Yonas did his Psychiatry Residency Training at Addis Ababa University in a program jointly run by University of Toronto and Addis Ababa University, a program known as Toronto Addis Ababa Psychiatry Project, TAAPP. He did a Clinical Fellowship at the University of Toronto focusing on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Sub specialty. He is also a Medical Educator. He previously was Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Addis Ababa University from 2009-2016.
