Sitota Center for Mental Health Care is Ethiopia’s  first psychiatric mental health facility offering a total solution to people suffering with mental illnesses. Our programs range from short term to long term out patient and in-patient treatment. We offer recovery that sustains clients requiring longer term treatment boasting a 70 percent success rate as measured by clients recovering fully equipped for life. Mental illnesses can affect people of any age, race, religion, or income. It is a medical condition that disrupts a person’s thinking, feeling, mood, and ability to relate to others and daily functioning.
Mental illnesses: major depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and borderline personality disorder.

Between 70 and 90% of people with mental illnesses experience a significant reduction of symptoms and an improved quality of life, with proper care and treatment.
